The Juilliard School‘s best musicians, dancers, and actors return for the seventh collaboration with outstanding performers of Texas State University, directed by Texas State alumnus and award-winning composer, pianist, and Juilliard faculty member Dr. Wayne Oquin. Reflecting the continued growth and success of this recurring event, “Juilliard Joins Texas State” was selected as the Spring 2014 Encore University Arts event made possible through student service fee funds and the financial contributions and corporate sponsorship of Wells Fargo and Texas State’s Common Experience.
Addressing the theme of this year’s Common Experience at Texas State, Minds Matter, the event will focus on the creative process as a key step toward mental health.
